The church is called San Pedro Martir and its located in the town of Guaynabo. Guaynabo was actually the first capital of Puerto Rico when the first European settlements arrive to the island in 1769. The capital was moved to its current location because they encountered mosquito problems. But don't worry, the church is air conditioned!!! And its gorgeous!!!

As was the typical format of the newly built towns of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, the church has a plaza and its built directly across from the city hall.

The reception will be at Jardines de El Castillo, which means Gardens of the Castle. The 'castle' is located in the town of Trujillo Alto, surrounded by nature and has beautiful views of the island. It is roughly 25 minutes away from the church. This beautiful house was built in 1930 by Don Desiderio Alvarez. Don Alvarez, was the Chilean Ambassador, and he built this house, with a facade similar to a small castle, as a country home. The reception itself will be outdoors, the garden of the house.
