It has been two weeks since we got engaged. We wan to take our time and enjoy this stage of our lives. But we've already started to share our desires for the celebration of our wedding. And we are enjoying every moment of it. Today we went to the St. Louis Best Bridal Show. They had vendors for everything related to the wedding: photographers, musicians, cake, honey moon packages, etc. We realized that a lot of things do not apply to us since our wedding will be in Puerto Rico and a lot of the companies present were local to St. Louis. We did have quite a few offers of people that seemed to be willing to play DJ for our party if we booked them a flight and hotel in the island. But we found it helpful in the sense that it gave us a place to start and an idea of how much stuff costs. Ryan got in a wind booth with money in it- check out the video below! He grabbed $166 that will be put into the costs of our invitations. Now we just need to figure out the date, the time, the place and the colors to order them!

Two weeks later... Dos semanas despues...
Han pasado dos semanas desde que nos comprometimos. Queremos tomarnos nuestro tiempo y disfrutar de esta etapa. Pero ya hemos empezado a compartir cuales son los deseos que tenemos para la celebracion de nuestra boda. Y nos estamos disfrutando cada momento. Hoy fuimos a un show de novias en St. Louis y la pasamos de maravilla. Habia muchos negocios relacionados a la celebracion de bodas: desde fotografos, hasta musicos, bizcochos, ofertas de luna de miel, etc. Muchas de las cosas no aplicaban a nosotros pues la boda sera en Puerto Rico y la mayoria de las companias presentes son locales de San Luis. Alugons chistosos se ofrecieron a darnos los servicios de fotografia y DJ gratis con la condicion de que le compraramos un pasaje y pagarmaos por un hotel en la isla. Pero nos sirvio para comprar precios y tener una idea de por donde empezar. Una de las companias de tuxedos tenia un booth de dinero. Ryan se metio y agarro $166 que nos descontaran del precio de las invitaciones. Abajo esta el link del video para que lo vean en accion. Asi que ya tenemos las invitaciones. Solo falta escoger la fecha, el lugar y los colores para mandarlas a hacer.

We just got engaged! ¡Nos acabamos de comprometer!
We just got engaged and I'm on a cloud. I can't think of anything else. I just keep replaying the proposal in my mind. Everyone did a great job keeping the secret from me! Thanks to everyone who has supported us. We are very blessed with wonderful families and amazing friends! We can't wait to share our excitement and love with you! So keep coming back for updates!
